REGISTRATION FORMS
Registration forms are located at the bottom of the menu on the left. Both
are in Adobe format. Costs of each program are listed on the Player
Registration form. All inquiries pertaining to player registration should be directed to CHMBA`s
Registrar. If you are
interested in coaching with CHMBA, please contact our
Vice President for more information. New coaches will also be required
to complete the Coach Form located at the bottom of the menu on the left.
NOTE: If you have any
problem opening
any of the forms, please update your (free) version of Adobe Reader
(link in the menu on the left).
UNIFORM DEPOSIT CHEQUE
(Except Ball School
and Rookie registrations)
The CHMBA Uniform Policy requires a
separate
$100 uniform deposit check post dated for October 1st of the current
year to accompany your
registration dues at the time of registration. This cheque will be
returned to you by the team coach when you return the uniform at the end
of the season. If you are paying registration fees by cheque, the
uniform deposit cheque must be a separate cheque. Please make all
applicable cheques payable to CHMBA.
THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
There are two ways to register for baseball with CHMBA:
- Click on and print off the Player Registration form
at the bottom of the menu on the left. Fill it out
and mail it in to the address at the bottom of the form along with one
cheque for the appropriate registration fee (on the form) and a separate
$100 uniform deposit cheque where applicable (see above).
- Register in person on either the regular
or late registration dates posted on the
main page of this website.
These dates are usually over by mid April. After that your only other
option is the one above.
Once you are registered, CHMBA will conduct tryouts for
players interested in playing competitive baseball. For an explanation of
competitive verses recreational baseball, click on "Divisions" in the menu and
refer to the bottom of the page. Once competitive tryouts are completed,
CHMBA will conduct house league player evaluation sessions so coaches have a
better chance at selecting balanced house league teams. Although this level of
baseball is recreational it is important to have your child attend to be
properly assessed. Dates for both of these
sessions will be posted on the website once facilities have been arranged. CHMBA
will also email these dates to all parents as well.
It is important to
provide a proper and legible email address on your registration form if you wish
to receive these notifications. Once teams are selected, you will
be contacted by the team coach with information about the start of the season.
